If you travel at 100 kmph instead of 110 kmph on your 30 km highway commute, you could save an estimated 5 liters of gasoline a week depending on the vehicle and situation.<br>&#8211; On&nbsp;the cold days, don&#8217;t spend too long warming up your car. This is a fuel waster. Don\u2019t drive too soon, either. Look at your car\u2019s coolant temperature or ambient temperature gauge. Start driving when your engine is at normal operating temperature.<br>&#8211; On hot&nbsp;days, avoid driving during the hottest time of the day. By driving when it is cooler, you can conserve fuel. Cooler air is denser and can help gasoline mileage.<br>&#8211; While it may seem dragging&nbsp;due to wind force, use air conditioning. Modern car air conditioners are efficient and create less drag on the engine than driving with the windows open at higher speeds.<br>&#8211; When approaching a red light or stop sign, take your foot off the gasoline early.
